There was bad smell everywhere also in blanket and Pillows. There was dust everywhere. It was like a cheap Dharmshala. I have videos of property but can't share here. I asked for another room but the manager asked extra Rs. 1000 for each good room.Flush was not working. I also have video of that. Taps were old and not working properly. Please do not spoil your holiday.Only good thing about the hotel was the space. Rooms were too much bad.
I've been generous with the rating because I stayed for a day only. Overall, the hotel stay was not bad. I certainly found it a bit overpriced for the usual price of a delux room. The kind of delux room provided to me also was very a basic, oldish one. I've definitely lived in much better ambience and larger rooms in half the price as this one, in Varanasi Cantt. area. There are better rooms as well in this hotel itself, which cost even more. If you are easy in the money side, you may get better rooms with more payments. My feedback is mostly based on my room. Overall ambience of the hotel was nice. Well-ventilated, clean, hygienic. Food (Veg Biryani) was average. Staff was nice too.
I just walked into this property and got an instant Agoda booking for two days. The staff are amazing and hospitable, they immediately asked me to wait a few minutes while they made arrangements and welcomed me with a glass of water. The ambiance in the reception was calming and made me feel comfy.This hotel is strategically located in a nice, quiet place inside the street, and as the name says Hotel Buddha, it truly is calm and peaceful. The gate security uncle is very warm and welcoming, and attends to you right away. For just 10 INR, you can visit the main temple, and then it’s about a 1 km walk to Gate 4.I loved this place and its people. The food was amazing.
