Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The receptionist was very rude and openly mentioned that he does not like Malaysians due to his personal experience.He specifically told our driver that the driver was welcome, but that we, as Malaysians, were not liked as he was not treated well.. This was extremely uncomfortable and unacceptable.When my mother politely asked why our passports were being checked for visa purposes, his response was very disrespectful: *“This is how we do it in our country; we don’t ask how you do it in your country.”* The way he spoke to us was completely unnecessary and unprofessional.The room was very humid and musty, with an unpleasant smell. The bathrooms were not clean and did not look like the pictures advertised. In one of the bathrooms, the flush was also not working.The hotel was advertised as being only 500 m from the temple, but in reality, it is approximately 1–2 km away for travellers. The 500 m distance seems to be based on a shortcut that is rarely used by tourists.Overall, the poor hospitality, uncomfortable room, unclean bathrooms, misleading distance information and especially the disrespectful attitude towards Malaysian guests made this a very unpleasant stay. **We would not recommend this hotel and hope the management takes such feedback seriously.**
