Hotel Mangalore Stay Inn

From check-in to check-out, everything was seamless. The hotel offered an excellent experience that went beyond what I expected. I am very grateful to the Hotel Manager.

I reserved rooms at Mangalore Stay Inn for my relatives during my wedding, expecting a hassle-free and respectful stay. At first, the manager was courteous and assured me that my relatives wouldn't have to pay anything since I would handle the payments later. However, this promise was broken. The hotel staff charged my relatives for coffee and food without notifying me. Later, we were billed an extra ₹1300. Luckily, one relative informed us they had already paid and had the bill as proof. When we confronted the manager, he denied receiving the payment and accused my relatives of lying, even though several rooms had valid bills. When my mother tried to explain, the manager became very arrogant and raised his voice at us, showing disrespect, especially towards women. Although he refunded the ₹1300 after a heated exchange, he did not apologize or admit fault. Instead, he made inappropriate remarks about deducting money from staff salaries and tried to brush off the issue. My family values honesty and respect, and we were ready to pay any legitimate charges. But the way this was handled—with dishonesty, blaming customers, and rude conduct—was very disappointing. I strongly advise against this hotel. The management shows a lack of professionalism, responsibility, and basic manners. This experience caused unnecessary stress during an important family event. I would give zero stars if possible.

The room is tidy, room service is quick, and the staff are excellent.

The property is new with all the facilities maintained nicely. Staff are cooperative in nature. The elaborate south-Indian breakfast provided by the property gave our mornings a nice start. Overall, this is a nice property located in Mangalore.
