It's fine

I stayed with my family from March 18 to March 21, 2026. The price was very reasonable, and the rooms were clean and fresh. The best part is its close proximity to Ranchi railway station and the Government Bus Stand.

Extremely poor service and unacceptable treatment of customers.

I've stayed at Hotel Meera in Ranchi several times, mainly when I need a short stopover while switching buses, trains, or flights. Overall, it's a mixed experience; not luxurious by any means, but it works well if you're just passing through and need a place to rest for a day. The biggest plus is its location, very close to Ranchi Railway Station, which is extremely convenient. The owner is genuinely kind and helpful. For instance, although the hotel lacks a designated parking area, the owner allowed me to bring my bike inside the premises for safety, which I really valued. Another great feature is their check-in policy, perfect for transit travelers. They don't follow the usual 11 AM to 11 AM rule; instead, you get a full 24 hours from your check-in time. If you check in at 8:30 AM, your checkout is at 8:30 AM the next day. The owner is very strict and punctual about this, never asking you to leave early but reminding you promptly when your time is up. While this policy is firm, it's fair and practical. On the downside, you have to accept compromises on cleanliness and amenities. Cleanliness is a known problem here. Rooms and bathrooms aren't well maintained, and you might notice dampness or unpleasant smells in the rooms and bedding. Sometimes, broken bathroom ventilators allow mosquitoes in at night. In short, if you want a clean, comfortable vacation spot, look elsewhere. But for budget-friendly rates, polite staff, and the unbeatable convenience of a flexible 24-hour stay right next to the station, it's a good choice for a quick one-day transit stop.
