Hotel O Anantapur

I booked through Agoda, and the description clearly stated that parking was available and there was air conditioning in the rooms. However, when I arrived at the hotel, it turned out that there was no parking. Also, Agoda didn't send any confirmation email outlining the amenities that were booked, which felt like a deceptive practice. At the hotel, I was directed to park in the nearby bus stand, where a fine of up to 200 rupees was mentioned for parking. I ended up paying 100 rupees for the entire night in paid parking. Upon returning to the hotel, I was dismayed to find that the rooms didn't even have a lock from the inside, causing significant frustration since my family and I were staying there overnight. I was concerned about the safety of our luggage and family, particularly as we were. I would never recommend this hotel, even for a bachelor to stay over.

Overall its a worst experience. We talked with Oyo and paid advance(everything was told very clearly-no. Of guests, checkin and checkout requirement) but after coming to hotel, hotel management says - we are not linked to Oyo and advance will not come into consideration. If there would be zero rating I would have chosen that. Please do not book through OYO and if you want to chose this hotel- Just get that thought out of your head right now.......Worst management by Oyo I would say!!!!!

Worst hotel. Its like you have booked some rooms on footpath. Bedsheets are utterly waste with mark all over it. No hygiene. Bathroom is like public toilet. Infact public toilet are way better than this i can say. Lift is 25 year old which can carry just 4 person. No parking for multiple cars. Just 1 car can be parked. No AC no TV and room is not cleaned when previous customer leaves the room. You can find hairs all over the floor along with dustbin full of cigarettes and waste. Please don't book this hotel by giving so much money.it is hardly 150-200 rs stay. Worst experience ever. OYO is fooling people by showing their photography skills. Just waste of money. Room is full of mosquitoes when you turn off the light

My stay at Hotel O, Anantapur was extremely disappointing. The room condition, cleanliness, and staff behaviour were all very poor.The bedsheet and pillow were extremely dirty, making the room feel unhygienic. The AC was not working, and in the bathroom, the shower tap was broken, with no proper shower facility available. Additionally, the bathroom lights were not working, which caused great inconvenience.The most frustrating part is that the full amount was already paid during online booking, yet when I requested a room change due to these issues, the staff did not respond properly and spoke aggressively instead of offering a solution. This kind of behaviour is completely unacceptable.Despite all these problems, the room tariff is quite high, while much better quality hotels are available in Anantapur at a lower price. This hotel does not justify its pricing in any way.Overall, it was a very bad experience, and I would not recommend this hotel unless major improvements are made in maintenance, cleanliness, and staff professionalism.
