Hotel Sarkar Palace

I reached Ooty at 7 AM. No Hotel was allowing us for early check-in and was asking for full day charges. But, "Sakar Palace" guy, whithout charging additional amount, allowed us for early cheking, I am really impressed with such cooperative gesture. Hotel is not very premium or business class but its one of the decent, safe, easily approchable and most importantly hygiene hotel where you can surely stay with your family and friends. Though the Hotel doesn't have caferetia but Hotel is located in main market (Charring Cross) so you can get Bkfast/ Lunch and dinner just a few steps away. 100% Recommended.

Stayed in this hotel 25 nd 26 dec 2025. Reached there at 9 AM but they won't allow checking upto 1PM. Geysar timing 7 to 10 AM only. Means that day is going to waste. Mineral water is not there but they claimed it is. Breakfast free is a scam because there is a limit of Rs.150 for adult and 100 for children. After that you have to paid from your pocket. I booked this hotel online 4 to 5 days before visiting there I paid 10700 (with gst) for 2 days stay. Although this hotel is good if you got in the range 2k to 3k during season.If you don't want to waste your day bring your immersion rod with socket.

Not stayed here but its a combo of rooms stay, restaurant and small shoppie for gifts biscuits coffee tea and sovieners. Its a bus stop for pvt outstation buses also. So very crowded and noisy place due to bus honking. But location is heart of city so great connectivity.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Sarkara Palace, Ooty. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were really kind and helpful. Everything was well maintained and pleasant throughout my stay. Highly recommended!
