Family • Sep 2026The location and views were absolutely beautiful, and the rooms were decent and comfortable. However, cleanliness and service could definitely be improved. After our meal, the used plates were left outside for a long time, and the food we asked the kitchen to keep for later was also left outside overnight. This felt quite unhygienic.Overall, a great location with stunning views, but the service and cleanliness need more attention.
I travelled to Ooty with my family including my 3 year old son. I stayed at Silent retreat Ooty Farm resort for two nights and I do not regret my selection.Staff was really supportive, they allowed us early check in by 5 hrs., definitely it was based on the room availablity.Breakfast was also good with limited option.Thing to improve is lunch and dinner as they get it from outside. Either they must start their own kitchen or change the contracted restaurant. However I would recommend this resort if you want to enjoy beauty of Ooty in a cool resort without impacting much on your pocket.Thank you.
