The location is fantastic, making transport and shopping convenient, anti staff are very helpful and friendly. While the facilities meet basic needs the cleanliness and bathroom condition could be improve overall it's offer decent value for money with a compatible sleep experience dispite come shortcomings.
The hotel environment was very bad and lacked cleanliness.

Solo Traveller • India • Aug 2026I stayed at Hotel Shimla Inn, Lucknow, for just a day, and it was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.Right after checking in, I found a mouse jumping all over my bed. Despite reporting it immediately, the staff took far too long to change my room.Unfortunately, the replacement room wasn’t any better. It had a broken washbasin, a filthy bathroom, dirty bedsheets, and was full of mosquitoes, making it extremely uncomfortable and unhygienic.The overall cleanliness, maintenance, and service were completely unacceptable. I genuinely regret booking this hotel.I would never recommend Hotel Shimla Inn to anyone. Save your money and choose a better place to stay.
