Hotel Shiraz Castle

I stayed at Hotel Shiraz Castle during a short trip to Amritsar, and honestly, it was exactly what I needed ’ clean, calm, and comfortable without trying too hard to impress. The location on Queens Road worked perfectly for me ’ close enough to the Golden Temple, railway station, and all the main bazaars, but tucked away from the chaos.The room was surprisingly spacious and spotless, with a comfortable bed and reliable Wi-Fi (which I always appreciate). What made the stay even better was the staff ’ genuinely helpful, not overbearing, and happy to help with small things like early check-in and arranging a cab last minute.I also ended up having dinner at their restaurant one evening when I was too tired to step out ’ and the food turned out to be quite good, especially the dal makhani. Nothing overly fancy, just simple, homely flavours done right.If you're looking for a no-fuss, value-for-money place to stay in Amritsar that still feels cared for, Hotel Shiraz Castle is a great pick. I'd definitely stay here again the next time I’m in town.

Hopeless food now, was good earlier. Extremely arrogant male receptionist. Rest staff is old and ok. Most horrible food in the town

Hotel Shiraz is near the bus stand, railway station and golden temple.If u want to come here to visit Golden temple,it is the best option for u to stay here, around the hotel, fast food market available & it's open overnight.

Very nice hotel and good person at the Reception. He was so kind and he let us choose based on the available rooms. He patiently showed 5 rooms and their rates asked to choose .Helpful and kind person who guided us to near by hotels . Thank you.I recommend this hotel for stay and they also have good Banquet halls of 50 and 100 pax.
