Hotel Suraj Inn

The rooms are good, spacious, and had all the basic facilities. Geyser was working fine and the staff was cooperative. Owner is very kind and polite as well. Recommended!

This hotel is absolutely terrible. I have visited Manali 4’5 times before for trips, but I have never come across such a bad and unprofessional hotel. Especially the girl at the reception ’ she had no manners or sense of how to speak to guests. I don’t remember her name now.What happened was that we had made an online booking, and the hotel had clearly mentioned the checkout time as 11PM. We planned to visit Sissu and come back later, so we left our luggage in the room and went out after taking the room keys with us. We had not even properly reached Sissu when that rude receptionist called and asked why we had not checked out yet. We politely told her that their own checkout timing was 3 PM and that we had gone sightseeing. Instead of talking respectfully, she rudely replied, ’Is this your first time staying in a hotel’?Even then, we ignored her behavior, but they kept making the situation worse. Later, they started demanding charges for a full extra day and night. When we refused, they brought some hired bouncers who started threatening us. We could have filed a police complaint, but because of all this drama we got delayed and our entire trip was ruined because of these people.I request everyone not to stay at places run by such dishonest and unprofessional people.

I had a wonderful 2-day stay at Hotel Suraj Inn, Manali, and the experience was truly memorable. The hospitality was excellent’the staff was very polite, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile.The food was one of the highlights of my stay. Every meal was delicious, fresh, and well-prepared, with great taste and quality. It really felt like home-style food, which made the stay even more comfortable.The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was warm and welcoming.I would definitely recommend Hotel Suraj Inn to anyone visiting Manali for a comfortable stay, great food, and outstanding hospitality. Looking forward to staying here again!
