Hitesh bhai is an exceptional person’warm, caring, and genuinely kind. His hospitality and service go far beyond expectations. During a moment when my mother was feeling stressed, he thoughtfully helped her with our luggage while my brothers and I were at the gym, ensuring everything was moved and arranged smoothly between our adjoining rooms. That gesture meant a lot to our family. Thank you so much, bhai, for your kindness and support.Bishwa is equally outstanding and always goes above and beyond to take care of us. Our family is quite particular about our diet, and he consistently ensures the food is prepared perfectly. The meals are excellent, and his attention to detail and service truly stand out.A big thank you as well to Juvsulen, Nitanjali, and Hemant their amazing hospitality. Their customer service is exceptional’always smiling, welcoming, and attentive. We had an amazing time at this hotel! The rooms were clean, the breakfast was great, and the service was fantastic. Our room had a great view of the city, and there was a food court area where we could ask the chef to make us anything we wanted. Two very kind employees, Hitesh and Dipankar, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. I greatly appreciate their efforts. If your visiting Surat, definitely recommend staying at the Marriott. They know how to take care of their guests, provide car services, and it's safe. ’’’’’’’’’’

The property is good but the front desk is not supportive and not ready to cooperate. You can have a best view from the property. The food is amazing as the hotel has some good restaurants. The room is spacious and sufficient big enough. It has good parking space and the pool is also good enough.

We stayed at Surat Marriott recently and our stay was exceptional.Initially at check in the staff was slightly cold but after that it was absolutely wonderful.Great rooms, hot showers and amazing selection at breakfast.Location is very convenient, we could walk to some of the shops ie G3 and some others.Pool and the gym were great, although I wish the pool was heated as the water was cold.I forgot my phone charger in the room and the duty manager was kind enough to courier it to our next destination and provide a tracking number.Definitely recommmend this property.

Great:* Only place in Surat away from honking horns and traffic.* Very comfortable bedding.* Friendly house cleaners and restaurant staff.Good:* Room upgrade when my first room smelled bad.* Willing to make custom food.* Nice view of the river and garden.* Pleasant buffet.The bad:* I was woken up every morning by banging wooden doors. It would cost less than 100 rupees per door to put gell stickers on each door and eliminate this in one day. Why has no one prioritized waking up guests?* I'm always sickened by hotel laundry monopolies. In this case a small load of laundry cost $125 USD - more than the room itself because of absurd pricing. For example: To wash a business suite: 200 rupees. To wash a plain t shirt: 350 rupees - more than the t shirt costs to buy new. Why does a T shirt cost more than a business suit to wash? I deeply resent having to find an outside laundromat that would charge ten times less or being ripped off, when the hotel would make plenty of money charging double or tripple what an outside laundromat does - and does not have to come and pick up or drop things off in traffic - just walk down the hall to the in-house laundry machine.
