Courtyard by Marriott Surat

On 21st January I tried to book a table for restaurant for 4 people. 10/12 times i tried hotels land line no but nobody cared to answer. I found a contact on Google for marriot booking and I was asked to pay 1500 per person. I paid the money. After reached hotel I learnt I was cheated. The manager himself called on that contact no and he was asked to pay advance for the booking. So it was evident it was a fraud.The manager did not care to call cyber cell to report the issue. He said it was none of his business. Even today the cheater is still on website trying to cheat people. I have reported tto cyber crime..The hotel management had not the curtcy to take action. While the accommodation excels, attempting business meetings here proves an utterly disastrous and uncomfortable ordeal. Ground staff offer competent assistance, yet supervisors and managers display shocking unfriendliness and incompetence, utterly devoid of professionalism or business etiquette.Demand precise seating arrangements upfront, as higher management will capriciously override ground staff promises, demolishing your experience with their arrogant disregard.This venue earns a firm non-recommendation for local professionals’avoid it entirely for any corporate purpose.

This is my first visit to Gujarat (so does Surat), but i have been a bonvoy member since many years. One of the reason i usually prefer marriott is, i never get surprises. And Courtyard surat is no difference. If you are lookinh for luxury, comfort, variety, etc, you should not think beyond courtyard surat. In general all staffs are very pooit3 and supportive, Specifically i want highligt service by Soumen. His was very polite, down to earth, knows how to interact with customers. The rooms are very spacious and well decorated. The buffet breakfast was excellent, but the hotel’s location is a bit outskirt of town. The room service is well maintained.Except for breakfast, the other meals and dinner are good, but non’veg dishes like fish are not available.The staff's behaviour are very nice.

In general good experience, we checked-in around in early morning and it was quick. In general clean room and good staff. Haven’t had chance to explore facilities due to our schedule.
