I have travelled extensively around the world and, whenever I book a hotel, I generally prefer staying at five-star properties. I booked Hyatt Regency Lucknow with the same expectation, especially because of the five-star tag.The staff behaviour was good, the property was clean, and I particularly liked the swimming pool—it was really well maintained and enjoyable.However, what disappointed me was the **reception and lobby area**. In my experience, a true five-star property usually has a spacious, grand and impressive lobby and reception area that creates a strong first impression. Unfortunately, I found this aspect quite underwhelming at Hyatt Regency Lucknow.Another thing I found quite disappointing and annoying was the **lack of a proper pub, lounge or nightclub-like space**. For a five-star property, I expected at least a well-designed evening entertainment or nightlife area.Overall, the stay was fine, and I had no major complaints regarding cleanliness or staff service. However, considering my experience with five-star hotels around the world, I personally would not rate this property as a true five-star experienceIt was an okay stay, but unfortunately, I would not choose to book this property again.

The rooms were clean, comfortable and well maintained, and I really liked the cleanliness.One area that could be improved is the breakfast buffet. I felt that the different food sections were not categorized or signposted clearly enough, so it was difficult to know where to look for different cuisines. There seemed to be more focus on Indian breakfast options such as puri and paratha. I could not easily find or identify Italian or Chinese options, and there were no clear signs indicating which section was for which cuisine. Better labeling and clear sections such as Indian, Chinese, Italian and Continental would make the breakfast experience much easier and more enjoyable.The other issue I noticed was sound insulation. The room itself was very good, but outside noises could be heard quite easily. For example, if someone closed their door with a little force, the sound was clearly audible inside my room. Improving the soundproofing would make the rooms more peaceful and comfortable.Overall, I enjoyed my stay, especially the clean and comfortable room. With better organization and signage at breakfast and improved sound insulation, the experience would be even better.Staff is so nice they are helpful..... 100 out of 100 for staff
