Staff is super rude and they actually rejected me for a walk in telling me that they had no rooms available, not sure if I got profiled or something so I saw that there was availability online and booked it through there and they had to obey the reservation. No apologies nothing and made it kinda inconvenient for me. Lol they need a course on hospitality or something

Hotel Kiranshree grand is very close to the Guwahati airport, and our stay there was very comfortable. Excellent customer service and beautiful exteriors. However swimming pool was closed for maintenance when we visited in May. Their breakfast menu is uncomparably extravagant. Overall nice experience.

We stayed at Kiranshree for just one night during our Guwahati trip. The property has a very convenient location ’ exactly opposite Guwahati International Airport and just about 1 km from the domestic airport.However, our experience was a mix of positives and disappointments. The shower in our initially allotted room was not working, so we had to request a room change. The new room was clean, but basic essentials like handwash were missing in the washroom, and we also noticed stains on the seating cushions.The food at the restaurant was good in taste, but definitely overpriced for the overall experience offered.While the hotel claims to be a 5-star property, the lack of attention to basic quality checks and maintenance did not match those standards. Overall, it was an average stay with a few noticeable service lapses.

Had a very pleasant & comfortable stay. It has all the amenities which caters to all age groups. Management is much efficient and hospitable. Worth the star rating. Very close to airport. Just a 5 min drive or 10 min walk.

For weddings, Hotel Kiranshree Grand is often considered one of the best options in Guwahati, but this advantage seems to have led to a monopolistic attitude that reflects poorly on professionalism. It is understandable that a full-house wedding event puts extra load on the staff, but proper planning is the responsibility of the management’especially since a large portion of the hotel’s revenue clearly comes from such events.Unfortunately, wedding guests often end up feeling like an inconvenience. Many basic essentials’such as hand towels, bathroom mats, tea sachet refills, and daily water bottle supplies’were either missing or only provided after repeated requests. The overall behaviour and communication of the staff was also quite disappointing.Another major concern was the handling of room keys. Providing duplicate keys for multiple individuals staying in the same room seemed to be an inconvenience for the hotel, which is far from professional. In my case, a duplicate key was actually issued to someone I did not know. When I objected, that key was deactivated’but I was then refused a second key altogether. This was extremely upsetting and unacceptable for a hotel of this category.It also appeared that some staff members, mostly local hires, seemed uncomfortable or indifferent while serving guests from outside Assam, especially wedding attendees. This creates an unpleasant experience and should be addressed by the management.If the hotel continues with this attitude, it may lose customers once better alternatives emerge.
