A Hidden Treasure Close to Aarey Ware Beach – Serene, Clean, and Affordable! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you're seeking a peaceful, clean, and nature-rich getaway near Ganpatipule without spending too much, Konkanwadi Woods Resort is a true find! During our recent 3-day Konkan trip, we needed a clean place for one night (Saturday). Most places near Ganpatipule charged over ₹4,000 per night, which seemed steep for just an overnight stay. I found Konkanwadi Resort online for ₹2,000 per night. With fewer reviews and being about 2 km off the main beach road, I was a bit doubtful—expecting average rooms at best. But it turned out to be the best surprise of our trip! The Drive & First Impressions The route to the resort goes through a dense, man-made forest. Driving slowly, it felt somewhat isolated and eerie at first due to the lack of people. Yet, once we arrived, all doubts disappeared. The property is beautifully maintained, surrounded by nature, with plenty of parking. Rooms, Views & Cleanliness The rooms and bathrooms were spotless and very hygienic. Our room offered a breathtaking triple view: sea, mountains, and forest all together! Thanks to the elevated location, the weather was perfectly comfortable—not too hot or cold—with a refreshing breeze. Relaxing in the quiet garden, listening to birds and watching peacocks was pure joy. It's an ideal quiet retreat for anyone wanting to escape city noise. Food (Homemade Delight) Note that there is no commercial restaurant, so meals must be ordered about 2 hours in advance. We are strictly vegetarian and prefer light/no-garlic dishes, so we kept expectations modest. However, the Veg Thali exceeded our hopes! It was authentic, tasty, homemade food prepared with care—the Aamras was especially excellent! A Small Note for Management: Our stay felt completely safe. However, the room we used had only an exterior cylindrical knob lock without an internal bolt or latch. While we had no safety concerns, adding an internal lock would provide guests extra reassurance. Key Points for Travelers: * Safety & Connectivity: Despite the quiet woods, the place is safe, peaceful, and mobile signals are strong. * Cleanliness: Perfect score for room and bathroom hygiene. * Atmosphere: Mountain and sea views, peaceful and ideal for nature lovers. * Value: Great pricing compared to crowded beach hotels. Don't be misled by the secluded forest drive—this is a peaceful paradise. I will definitely return to Konkanwadi Resort on my next trip to Konkan!

A lovely and peaceful spot to stay near Ganapatipule and Ratnagiri. Located on a hilltop, it offers stunning views of both the sea and the Sahyadri ranges. The Marathi cuisine is excellent and made to order, the service is warm and welcoming, and the place is impeccably clean. The property is spacious and includes a cowshed (Gomata ashram). Definitely a great choice for a comfortable stay in this region of Konkan.

Nice place for a family visit

Rooms are clean and well kept. The food is hygienic, comforting, and delicious. Located in a peaceful area, this spot in Kotawade stands out as the only clean neighborhood along the Ratnagiri coast. I hope both locals and visitors maintain this cleanliness and continue to respect nature. The resort's staff and owners honor the place, which is why the surroundings are cleaner than other areas in Maharashtra.

Hygiene was excellent. It was an amazing experience. The food tasted great.
