Overall, the stay was average. Pros: 1) Large suite with a balcony 2) Close to the beach (about 700 meters) 3) Swimming pool available Cons: 1) No restaurants inside the hotel 2) Only one external restaurant with a limited menu (food quality is average but prices are high) 3) TV was completely non-functional despite multiple complaints 4) Housekeeping service is limited 5) Charged R30 for a 1-liter water bottle 6) Parking space is limited, so cars must be parked outside 7) Reception operates only from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm 8) No security guard present

The stay was pleasant, clean, and excellent.

I booked Majestic Villa, near Padubidri, Udupi mainly because of its proximity to Padubidri Beach. We booked two rooms for our family. Check-in was smooth, and the property's exterior looks good, but the positive impression ended there.The rooms were small, and the towels and bed linen had an unpleasant smell and did not feel clean. The biggest concern was hygiene—after switching the bathroom lights back on after a short time, we found several baby cockroaches in the toilet, which was unacceptable.I had also paid for breakfast during booking, but the next morning we were told they would have to go out and buy it, meaning it wouldn't be available until around 8:30 AM, so we had to skip and leave early.For a tariff comparable to a 3-star hotel, the experience was far below expectations. While the location near the beach is convenient and check-in was hassle-free, the poor cleanliness and unfulfilled breakfast service made our family stay very disappointing.

Staying here was a nice experience. The rooms were tidy and clean. They provided free complimentary breakfast. The beach is just a few meters away from this location.
