Hotel Orchid Plaza

Stayed for a day. Hotel front desk upgraded room free of cost. The room was clean and all basic amenities were available. Toiletries were also provided. The best part is the staff ; they are very courteous and humble and polite . The best hotel in Kolkata in terms of helping nature of hotel staff and management. Hotel was clean. I would highly recommend you to stay here if your want a 2 star/3 star hotel experience at a budget.( Outside food was also allowed btw from online apps ). there is some complain of me on my recent stay.I had ordered 2 special orchid biryani, but I got only one, and on asking he said that it is double.Shame to take illegal money from ur own customer.And in room in the name of Toiletries only soap and shampoo was there. No dental,shaving and grooming kit neither loofa.So, I want to say to management of hotel to please look at this issue.And next time I will not prefer to stay there.And please hire some honest staff. Who don't try to take money from such wrong method. And I need my bill because he has taken food amount with GST.

Rooms not up to mark; If you come to kolkatta dont allow the cab driver to show rooms. or else they will show some hotels and take commission from hotel, so you have to pay double charges then. Kolkata is very dirty; only few areas in kolkata are good. Everywhere cab drivers looting money by charging min 200 for just 1 km distance. They not allow auto rickshaw service in kolkata. Even if you use ola or uber they are asking for extra charges or else they are cancelling the order. This hotel is located in a dirty area where I could saw many fish, meats sold are on road. No proper veg restaurants near by to this hotel. We got admired with the Kali mandir, victoria hall, new street and science city in kolkatta and all other areas are dirty here

Very nice hotel for a short trip which is in the middle of the city... All the places are quite near by to this hotel... The staffs are really good helpfull.. faizan fareen and other staffs were great ’’

The stay was pleasant, and the staff was very good. The property was decent but could use a bit of renovation. Apart from that, we didn’t face any issues’it was an amazing stay, and the manager, Faizan, was extremely cooperative and helpful.
