Good property surrounded by greenary. Nice backwater views. Peaceful and relaxing. Very good staff. Courteous and humble.They need to add some more indoor & outdoor activities to keep the guests busy.Jaccuzi needs improvement. Pathways are very narrow & undulating to walk or run. Good wad goodOtherwise, a good experience.

It's an amazing place, the property is full of flora and fauna. It is adjacent to Kabini backwaters.The hotel infrastructure is built with mostly local indigenous materials. It has a very rustic vibe, true to its name.The staff is very well trained, 90% are locally hired from nearby villages. All the staff are courteous, always ready to help, and greet you whenever you passby.Food is great, especially considering it's almost in a forest.The price tag is expensive, but if you have the budget then go for it blindly, we had a great time during our stay.Best time to visit would be from December to April, during weekdays, as weekends are busy here. From June to December, good amount of property is submerged due to surge in Kabini water level.Don't miss the Birdwatching, Night trails, and Caracal ride. If you are opting for Safari, opt for the early morning ones.Special shout out to Raja - the Bartender, Manju - Naturalist, and the Caracal ride operator, all were very friendly and made our stay special.

We recently had been to Kabini and we chose red earth as our stay for the two nights . We were two couples and one couple had a 4 year old kid . Let me explain about the resort in detailLocation: it’s an amazing place , situated right on the banks of Kabini river . We could sip our tea and enjoy the backwaters with drizzles in their cafe .Service : it’s amazing , on par with any 4 star hotels . Staff are very friendly and very welcoming , we were made very comfortable during two days .Rooms : we chose the cottage with jacuzzi , it was amazing . Privacy with amazing views . We enjoyed each and every moment spent in the rooms .Food : this is the highlight of our stay , we did not miss even a single meal or a single item in the buffet . Each and every dish was made with such care and even the kid enjoyed it . Made me feel that we are eating so healthy , fresh fruits and vegetables.Staff : owners are very friendly and welcoming , naturalist Manju Ajmal is very knowledgeable helped us spot insects and some birds . All the restaurant staff is very friendly , mention to mr murthy who served the other couple for candle light dinner .Overall it was a wonderful experience, i have planned to visit their tadoba property very soon . I with i could give it 10/5 .

Red Earth is good place to chill for the weekend! Best time to visit is post rainy season when backwaters are full! The rooms and bathrooms were spacious but they can upgrade the mattress and toiletries.They conduct a short induction upon checkin and the activities will be carried out based on participation. Cycle track and motor boats were not available. Pool is good and maintained well! The restaurant has good spread of vegetarian food and staff is friendly and supportive for families with kids!The bar was hardly active in the evening and we had to wait for starters for a long time. Coracle ride will be fun to experience.
