The place was tidy and the food was tasty. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, going above and beyond—they even came to the railway station to return something I left in my room. It was a wonderful experience.

Disappointing Hotel Experience

My stay at Rion Boutique Hotel in Udaipur was very disappointing. We had arranged and paid for a 3-day stay in advance, but on the second day, the staff suddenly said we had only paid for one day and asked us to leave. After many requests, they let us stay only after paying an extra ₹300 upfront. The room had issues too; the air conditioner leaked water all night, making it uncomfortable. When we complained, the staff just called it a "technical issue" and didn't fix it or offer a room change. The parking was also poor. I hurt my foot and left a small blood stain on the bedsheet, and instead of understanding, the hotel charged ₹500 for washing it. Overall, the staff seemed unprofessional, service was poor, unexpected fees appeared, and complaints were ignored. I wouldn't recommend this hotel and advise confirming all booking and extra charges in writing before booking.
