Sagar Priya Hotel

*Hotel New Sagarpriya* *(New Digha)* is an excellent place to stay. The food is really good and the kitchen is clean. All rooms have a beautiful sea view and are airy and well-maintained. Cleanliness is properly maintained throughout the property. It’s very close to Jagannath Dham and near the railway station, which is a big plus. The swimming pool is clean, the staff are polite and helpful, and 24/7 WiFi access is available. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay!

The rooms are good but the staff's behaviour is not good and especially the swimming pool timings are the worst....lunch is not provided in rooms...Better you should try to book another hotel.

The New Sagar Priya Hotel offers a wonderful location in New Digha. Let's share our experience of one night stay on Saturday 14th June 2025.We processed our booking through Agoda and got a side sea facing room in 3rd floor. The room (406) was cozy accommodating a king sized bed, wardrobe, table-chairs, tea/coffee arrangements, a normal toilet, toiletries, a balcony, AC, good dressing zone. The room was comfortable for a stay of couples with a small kid. The price of our room was around 7k (including GST) for one night including breakfast, and, we understood (comparing various cities) that the price was HIGH. Only our intercom was not working !NSP Hotel offers a buffet breakfast. We got a wide spread - bread butter, egg/omlet, puri-sabji, idli sambar, poha, fruits, milk, cornflakes, tea. The only negative point was observed scarcity of seats during peak time. The quality of food in lunch and dinner was appreciable. People may feel that the price is little high. However, the quantity was very good. Room service is available for breakfast and dinner without extra cost.The swimming pool is surrounded by the building which gives a feel of courtyard. It is open during 9 am - 2 pm and 5 pm - 7 pm. They provide swimming dresses. No extra charge is required.The hotel has dedicated car parking and accommodations for drivers (Rs. 500 per night) in the ground floor.Previously we read in various reviews about rude behaviour of the staff, but, it's not true for our case. They are gentle. Service speed is moderate. Therefore there is a scope for improvement and need for appropriate training for the people, specially who are engaged in the front desk.Overall the experience was moderate to good !

Good budget friendly hotel very good location and the room price was very reasonable. Value for money. Waiter's were not at all greedy like other hotel's. Good

I WONT EVER SUGGEST ANYONE TO STAY IN THIS HOTEL,Worst Behaviour of the staffs,especially RECEPTIONIST & KITCHEN STAFFS.No proper room service,i.e,-No tea service,No lunch service at room,Wont allow outside food inside,Behaves like bad ones,Speaks to the guests in Loud improper manner.,Have to take rooms for minimum two days,whether you need it or not.Etc.Better to check other hotels before checking in here.
