Sakthi Residency - Near Junction & Bus Stand

We had booked hotel here for stay on 24th feb , non ac room was decent with sofa and big restroom. Hot water facility was there.But tv was not working properly with some lines and we need to call room boy for on tv every time. They took 1500 Rs per day for room charges. pls carry aadaar card original with you . They are also tied up with esha travels car facility and trust them for certain temple visit which u have plans. I recommend u to make note of temples before leaving ur native.

Its not a 3 star , its like an ac lodge .I booked this stay in Hotel ark inn near new bus stand [ kumbakonam ] on MakeMyTrip after being thoroughly impressed by the long list of amenities mentioned and the photos posted . Unfortunately, those amenities seem to exist only on the booking page and not in the actual hotel. What was promised and what was delivered are two completely different realities.The room was smelly as soon as we entered . It was untidy and looked like a cheap hotel . I lost all the expectation and realised the photos on make my trip may have been taken when they opened it as new may be 5 or 6 years ago .Only advantage was it was close to bus stand , but if you are in car its narrow lanes to reach there and parking is tricky as its underground with only 5 car parking space.I thought as its brach of the other lea ark inn , it might be well maintained , but its a myth.Shops are nearby ,and you can get tea easily . There is no restuarant or food service inside the property.We traveled with family booked two rooms . Got Ground floor Rooms. Rooms are not maintained, tv is broken a line in between. Bathroom taps were leaking , fan regulator doesnt work and kettle hasnt been used fo ragea. Some sockets and lights didnt work . No toileteries , Blankets are local and not washed . No inter comm , no tissues glass or anything.Beds are stained and pillows are old .Bathroom is not well maintained and is ok ok only .If you want to just freshen up its ok , but to stay there for the price offered its not worth.Room service is good and staff are good but overall its not even a single star hotel and i would say. Its an ac lodge .

My stay at ARK Residency was very disappointing. The room was extremely smelly and poorly maintained. As soon as we entered, there was a strong unpleasant odor that made it very uncomfortable, especially since we were staying with family.The bed sheets and towels smelled badly, and because of this, we couldn’t sleep properly the entire night. Hygiene and cleanliness were clearly not taken seriously.I checked in late at night, so I had no other option to move out with my family at that hour. Otherwise, I would not have continued the stay at all.On top of that, the room service was very bad and unresponsive. Overall, it was a stressful and unpleasant experience.I strongly suggest the management improve cleanliness, hygiene, and basic room maintenance. Until then, I do not recommend this place, especially for families.

Clean, decent rooms with hot water, AC and Good car parkingLocation is near bus stop which can be convenient but don't pick a room facing the bus stop as you hear constant bus honking in the night. The other side rooms are fine. Service is non existent. Away from the main temple area but enough autos available for transport. Overall average stay not great but can opt if no other option available at a reasonable cost.

It is very nice boarding place for family. Rooms are clean and spacious. Bathrooms are very big and clean. 24 hours hot water facility. It is situated very near and just opposite to kumbakonam bus stand.
