We paid in full for the room while booking and found it infested with cockroaches crawling all over the beds. I inspected two rooms ’ both were in deplorable condition.The reception staff appeared completely indifferent, sluggish, and clearly unconcerned about the filthy state of the property. He refused to take any action, merely told us to contact OYO customer care, and didn’t even bother to get up from his chair.Do not stay here if you value cleanliness or sleep. You’ll likely carry cockroaches home with your luggage and risk falling ill. We chose to forfeit our prepaid amount rather than endure the health hazard and take the insects back with us.Booking made for check in at Jun 17 2026.

I had a confirmed prepaid Agoda booking, but upon arrival the hotel refused to provide a room and rudely told me to contact Agoda. This is completely unacceptable and caused significant inconvenience. Agoda should investigate this property and take strict action to prevent such incidents from happening to other customers.

Our experience at Townhouse Nanganallur near Chennai Airport was nothing short of appalling and deeply disappointing. We had booked the place for three days during the RenewX Expo, but the conditions were so utterly unacceptable that we couldn’t even stay for a single day despite having paid for it.The rooms were shockingly small, claustrophobic, and in a disgracefully unhygienic state. They were infested with cockroaches and other insects, making the environment feel filthy, neglected, and completely unlivable. The bathroom was equally revolting’uncleaned, poorly maintained, and downright miserable to use.To make matters worse, the service was just as dreadful as the facilities. My colleague, who arrived early in the morning, was bluntly refused entry before 10:30 AM. The receptionist was extremely rude, unprofessional, and shockingly arrogant. Instead of showing basic courtesy, they actually shouted at him for arriving earlier than the check-in time’completely ignoring the fact that we had already booked the rooms for three days and had a valid reason, as the expo started at 9 AM.The entire experience was frustrating, exhausting, and utterly unacceptable. We ended up leaving immediately with our luggage and finding alternative arrangements.This place is poorly managed, grossly maintained, and severely lacking in even the most basic standards of hospitality. I strongly advise others to avoid this place at all costs. I also have photos to support these claims, and they clearly reflect the shocking reality of this property.Location - It is not where close to the main road or near to the airport. The location is least four to five kms in the interior. Roads leading to the place is decent.Note - One stars were given due to the fact that we do not have a negative star category. This place does deserve a single star rating.My advice is to avoid this place at all costs. Not worth a penny.

Full of cockroaches everywhere, very bad staff, no customer handling, he showed me one ac room first with no windows, then i change to another, the mattress and pillow is dirty, full of cockroaches everywhere and very bad staff..Tv is broken as well.. I will not recommend to anyone..

It was most unpleasant and horrible. The place is worse than a cheap dharamshala. Dirty room, dirty bathroom, cockroaches. I spent the night almost awake. Thank you ixigo for listing such places
