Silent Shores Resort & Spa

This has been one of the worst resort experiences I have ever had. For a property charging approximately 12,000 per room, the level of service is absolutely unacceptable. Even the most basic amenities and standards of hospitality are missing.The staff is unprofessional, inadequately trained, and lacks even basic hospitality etiquette. To put things in perspective, I have experienced better service at OYO properties in India.We reached the restaurant at 9:40 AM for breakfast, well within the breakfast service period, only to find that almost all the food was finished. What was shocking was that the staff had no clue about the situation and no one appeared to take ownership or responsibility.We waited for approximately 25 minutes, after which food was replenished—and it was cold. Even after raising a complaint, a basic cup of tea took another 20 minutes to arrive.This is not a minor inconvenience. When a guest pays *** per room, basic food availability and timely service are the bare minimum—not a luxury.What made the situation even more ridiculous was the restaurant manager asking me at checkout, “What can I do to improve your experience?”My answer is simple: I should not have to beg for basic food and service after paying for a stay. Hospitality means anticipating and fulfilling basic guest requirements, not asking the guest at checkout how the damage can be repaired after the entire experience has already been ruined.The resort seems to have a completely different attitude before and after taking the booking. During booking, everything sounds wonderful. Once the guest checks in, however, the professionalism, responsiveness, and courtesy seem to disappear.The entire experience left me feeling that the property is more interested in collecting money than providing a genuine hospitality experience. A vacation that was supposed to be relaxing and enjoyable was instead filled with frustration, delays, poor service, and unnecessary arguments.I consider this a clear failure of service standards and guest hospitality. I am also evaluating filing a complaint before the appropriate Consumer Commission/consumer forum regarding the deficient service and the manner in which the entire experience was handled.A resort does not need to offer five-star luxury. But when it charges 12,000 per room, a guest has every reasonable expectation of receiving basic amenities, adequate food, timely service, trained staff, professionalism, and basic respect.Unfortunately, this property failed on every one of these basic expectations.My strong recommendation: DO NOT BOOK THIS RESORT based solely on the attractive promises made during booking. The actual experience can be completely different.

I had a very disappointing visit. It was my first time at this resort with a friend to celebrate my birthday. Initially, we were unaware that we needed to order and pay before sitting in certain areas. When the security guard informed us, we apologized and explained it was our first visit. Instead of kindly explaining, he scolded us and said, "This is not Kabban Park to just come and go." After ordering, paying, and eating, we went to the pool to take some photos. The same guard told us that photos there required payment. We respected this and headed to the exit. Trying to take a quick photo near the gate, he stopped us again, asked what time we arrived, and said we had stayed too long and needed to leave. We followed all rules without arguing, but his repeated interruptions and rude attitude made us feel unwelcome and embarrassed. First-time visitors should be treated politely, not made uncomfortable repeatedly. This ruined my birthday celebration. I hope management trains staff to communicate more respectfully and professionally.

We came to this resort to celebrate our birthdays and it was just perfect! The property is stunning with an amazing atmosphere. Definitely a memorable staycation 🤍

We really enjoyed ourselves. It's the perfect spot to relax.
