Strawberry Cottage

We got to stay in this hotel for 2 days. Rooms was pretty tidy and comfortable. Since the room was of forest view, there was nothing breathtaking. But still it was pleasant. Housekeeping and other services was really good. There is not very option for food here. Also breakfast buffet was not at all good. Had a really bad experience with receptionist. He was very rude.wifi was not working in our room and called receptionist and he behaved very rude and unprofessionally. I felt humiliated. All other staff was really good and service was also nice

We visited this hotel for 2 days.Our experience was not at all good.The scenic beauty which it provides from the gallery is breath taking .But the rooms are really small with "tiny" washrooms.There is hardly any space to even stand in the bathroom.It is not at all like the picture shown on the website .There was no bath tub at all.There was not a single hanger in the washroom so no option for hanging clothes over there and no exhaust too. We had even asked for an upgraded room but they said that all rooms are the same.There is no tap too (except there is a washbasin tap and shower) which makes it very difficult with kids.The whole hotel stinks badly,so does not provide a pleasant vibe.The play area is also badly Maintained and with a bad smell which makes impossible for children to play. The options for food are also not that great.We had booked this hotel as an upgradation to our previous hotel but this was not good at all .Totally not worth the heavy price it charges.

Great location, away from the hustle bustle of the town. Being away there is no pollution and noise. For a 3 star hotel the rooms are decent and food is good. Staff is courteous. Had misplaced a shawl during the breakfast, and it was found intact when we checked with the reception the next morning. Mr.Natarajan was very helpful. Would definitely come back here to stay.

The place is very difficult to access as it's after some tea museums and the road is completely blocked with the hotel not providing any service or guidance. The rooms are pretty old in the sense that you can see the paint peeling off and bathrooms edges turning black. While the general staff is good, the reception manager and the f&b manager are not very flexible. The food and drinks inside the property are very expensive.

Fantastic resort. The Bengali chefs cooked delicious food and listened to our requests. The food was so yummy that one could spend hours in eating the delicious food. The service was prompt and whatever you wanted was given immediately. The views of the Nilgiris Mountains was just amazing and one could sit and eat outside while looking at the mountains or just sit in the room and observe the breathtaking views. They provided good tour guides with car and driver. Only thing lacked was rude reception people who are totally untrained and have no respect for customers. They should get polite staff for the reception like the rest of the staff and cooks here. Go for the food and views..they were excellent.
