We spent three days here and found it very pleasant at an affordable cost. The heritage setting was amazing, surrounded by lovely greenery and flowers, with great weather too. The food was tasty. The complimentary breakfast was excellent and nutritious. The staff were very kind, helpful, and friendly. We will surely suggest this place to others.

We really enjoyed our time surrounded by beautiful flowers and greenery. The wood fire and the heritage ambiance were fantastic. Each day, a complimentary breakfast was offered, which was both nice and healthy. I would love to return and recommend this place to anyone visiting Ooty.

Our experience at this café was one of the most disappointing dining experiences we've encountered. The atmosphere is lovely, the design is attractive, and the food was truly good. However, none of this compensated for the shockingly rude and unprofessional staff behavior. We ordered several dishes and, like most patrons at premium-priced cafés, expected to pay for both the food and the overall experience. Instead, we were suddenly told that taking photos would incur an extra charge of ₹2,500, a policy that was never communicated beforehand. The staff did not explain this politely; instead, they responded with hostility and arrogance. One employee even came outside seemingly ready to argue. They said their manager would reprimand them if customers took photos and that we had to comply. Whatever their internal rules, it is not the customer's duty to handle poor communication and confrontational attitudes. A beautiful café and good food might attract customers once, but terrible service ensures they won't return. We came expecting a pleasant evening and left feeling genuinely upset. It's unfortunate that such a nice place is marred by the attitude of its representatives. I would not recommend this place unless management seriously improves staff professionalism and behavior.
