Traveling with family with 2 young children 1st time to Ooty. But it was home away home. Vintage property with good view and location. Manager Mr. Deepak was really very helpful. Helped a lot. Also Thank you rest serving staff. Very polite and humble. Only Request to change beds in to Morden style for more comfort.
A lovely property not too far from the main attractions. The food was amazing, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained. We truly enjoyed our stay at Lymond House.
We stayed in the end of March 2026 as part of our birding trip. The property itself had rare endemics like Nilgiri flycatcher, Black and Orange flycatcher and a Tytler's leaf warbler. Iti s near to major hotspots and the stay was comfortable. It was great being awakened by Blackbird song every morning. The staff was courteous and very helpful. Food was excellent. I would recommend this stay for the ambience, facilities and the staff.
