What a great hotel and staff. We had a lovely stay here with a fabulous room and to top it off the breakfast was delicious. Would highly recommend this hotel
Came from Delhi to Chandigarh Taj for relaxing staycation. My experience was lovely.
This was my 2nd stay in this Taj. Every thing is good here until the breakfast. The staff seems like rushing here and there without any output. The breakfast area is not very large so if you are thinking to have your breakfast in peace then you have to come as early as possible. They can't handle morning rush though it's every day routine for them but it looks like they are not use to it. It took 10 mins to refill the bowl and same happened to bring the fresh glasses for juice counter. Not only me but other guests were also irritated. Overall the FnB dept needs a complete overhaul. Once you get your table you are on your own , no one will come to ask you about your preference or needs. The FnB person who gave us the table was not having the side plates I asked one of the server roaming here and there to get 2 side plates but he was having no clue about the whereabouts of the side plates, he searched for good 2 mins in whole restaurant in front of my eyes looking for the side plates 😅😅 after 2 mins Eureka moment happened and he got the side plates. Again, I will say that Overall FnB dept needs a complete overhaul. Big 0 for Food and beverage dept.Day 1, I asked them for room sleeper of large size, that request was never honoured but while placing the request they responded positively. In my honest view overall my 1 day stay experience was not above of 5500 but ofcourse they will charge you atleast 8K for a day of stay with breakfast.
