Tea Terrace Vythiri Resort

Situated amidst the lush green tea estate, Sunaina’s place is a perfect getaway from hush bush of city life. It checks in all the boxes, be it the location, service or the food. It was drizzling during our visit making it even more pleasant and beautiful. They serve fresh, hot homely food (Puttu and idiyappam must try). Also there is a small stream at a walkable distance where you can relax and enjoy. We were little skeptical about the slope which was mentioned in the reviews considering the rainy season but to realise it’s definitely manageable if you are used to driving at hilly areas. Special mention : Ubaid and his team did a great job. They are always available for your help. Overall great stay and I definitely recommend this place and hope to visit again !!!

During our stay, light rain made the experience even more enjoyable and scenic. They provide fresh, warm, homemade meals (Puttu and idiyappam are highly recommended). There's also a small stream within walking distance where you can unwind and take in the surroundings. We were initially concerned about the slope mentioned in other reviews, especially during the rainy season, but found it quite manageable if you're accustomed to driving in hilly regions. Special thanks to Ubaid and his team for their excellent support—they were always ready to assist. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I highly recommend this place and look forward to returning!

We enjoyed a fantastic 2-night stay at this place, and the entire experience was delightful. The setting is absolutely beautiful, with rooms situated right in the heart of the tea plantations. Wherever you look, you are met with stunning views of either the vibrant tea gardens or the lovely valley below. The service was outstanding. Ubaid, the caretaker, took care of everything from the time we booked until we left. We got a detailed WhatsApp message a day before arrival with all the necessary details, making check-in easy and stress-free. The rooms are roomy, clean, and comfortably fit three people. Although there is no room service, you can bring your meals back to your room if you want to eat while enjoying the view. The food was tasty and fairly priced. Lunch and dinner must be ordered ahead, and the staff sends timely reminders to make ordering simple. The menu includes a nice variety of local dishes and popular options. Breakfast is fairly basic but freshly made and served hot at your table. The final kilometre to the property is a steep uphill drive but manageable. We saw many cars make the climb without trouble. If needed, the caretaker is willing to come down and help guide you. A few things to note: the rooms are built on a slope, so expect to walk up and down stairs or inclines. If you have elderly family members, it’s best to ask for a lower room for easier access. We did find a leech in our room once, but considering the location right next to tea plantations and surrounded by nature, it was understandable and didn’t spoil our stay. All in all, this is a wonderful spot to relax if you want scenic views, friendly service, and a quiet stay in nature. We would gladly return.

Had such a beautiful stay at Tea Terrace. The sunrise and sunset views were honestly stunning ’ the kind of views you just sit and stare at quietly.The food was also really nice, and every meal felt freshly made. The staff was warm and helpful throughout, which made the stay feel easy and comfortable.We ended up playing carrom, TT, golf, going for hikes, and just spending time breathing, relaxing, and doing nothing in the best way possible. The misty showers were my absolute favourite ’ peaceful, dreamy, and exactly what we needed.A genuinely refreshing place if you want to slow down and enjoy nature.

Nestled among tea gardens, it offers a wonderful atmosphere, delicious food, and friendly service. Guests who have difficulty with stairs should be aware that there are few flat areas near the rooms. Apart from that, it is highly recommended for couples and small families.
