The Bougainvillea, Mcleodganj

We truly loved our time at this lovely location. The staff were extremely helpful and responded immediately with just one call. The only challenge was that we had to climb about 50 steps to get to the accommodation. The breakfast was tasty, like homemade food. Plus, it was very close to the mall road market.

We really enjoyed our time here! The scenery was stunning, and the service was top-notch. The room featured big windows with a lovely view, which made our stay more pleasant. It was warm, tidy, and very cozy. Definitely recommend it!

Good hotel overall. Everything was fine, though nothing stood out as exceptional. I suggest it if you want a generally satisfactory stay.

They don’t have any room with a kitchenette in this hotel. But they charged me around US$10 or so more each day for this room type and I ended up paying around US$250 for my stay for a ghost kitchenette. When I filed my complaint and asked for a fair refund for the room type difference, they insisted I didn’t say it in the beginning and refused any refund! And when I argued with them, they threatened to kick me out earlier! Such hospitality! Also Agoda is not helping just canned messages that they can’t help with the situation, so I will likely use other platforms in the future.

We spent 3 days and 2 nights here. The views were stunning, the rooms comfortable, and the hospitality outstanding. A special thanks to Ashwin bhai, who was always available to help. Whether it was booking cabs, renting a scooty, or advising us on what to do and avoid, he supported us throughout. McLeodganj Market is only a 5-minute walk away. To reach Bhagsu, you'll need a cab costing about ₹500, though renting a bike is a great alternative. I would definitely suggest staying here.
