The JaiBagh Palace

A great spot to enjoy and have a good time

This place functions more like a Banquet Hall rather than a Hotel or Resort. It is mainly suited for weddings and not for solo stays. Many facilities are not working. Their restaurant is closed. Although a bar and coffee shop are listed, neither is operational. There is no menu card; staff take orders but only offer the same five dishes repeatedly. The pool is dirty with pigeon droppings. The rooms are nice with good AC and are clean and attractive. The staff are courteous. Extra mattresses are available for a fee, but they don't provide proper bedsheets for them, using linen covers instead. It seems the management changed in the last 1-2 years and maintenance has been neglected. Overall, I would not suggest this place for individual stays.

I booked a stay at Jaibagh Palace Jaipur under the name Gypsa Shrivastav from July 4th to 6th. Upon arrival, I was assigned a room without a view and with closed windows, which was completely different from the mountain view room shown in my booking. The AC in the room was not working, making it very hot. We waited an hour for someone to fix the AC, only to find out that it is centrally controlled and the staff cannot provide a remote for it. After complaining, they moved us to a bigger room with better cooling, but the AC was still ineffective. I stayed in the hot room for two hours before finally leaving. The rooms had no working telephone to contact reception, no in-room dining menus, and the staff did not respond when called. The whole experience was very distressing for me and my one-year-old baby in 40-degree heat. Even when I left the hotel, no one offered help with luggage or a refund—just pure arrogance from the staff. I am shocked to see such terrible properties advertised with beautiful pictures on Make My Trip. I trust MMT customer service to provide a full refund and not support such poorly managed and arrogant properties on their platform. I immediately booked another hotel today and moved out. Please assist me in getting a refund for this awful experience. I have also escalated the issue with MMT customer care.
