In short, this hotel is highly recommended in every way. Thanks to the Olive Hotel team for making our first visit to Kashmir truly memorable. The rooms met expectations in terms of cleanliness, technology, decor, and upkeep by the polite staff. Situated on the peaceful Airport road just outside the busy city center, the hotel features a refined restaurant serving delicious dishes rich in authentic Kashmiri flavors, with waiters who are very kind and helpful in recommending dishes based on personal preferences. Most importantly, I was deeply impressed by the hospitality and support from the managers, especially Mr. Hamid. On our check-in day, we were delayed and asked to stay overnight at Yatri Niwas by paramilitary forces for security reasons during the Shri Amarnath Yatra. My original phone number didn't work in J&K, so goibibo was unreachable despite numerous attempts. Understanding our situation, Mr. Hamid eased our worries by securing a new booking voucher from goibibo and adjusted our itinerary by a day without extra charges despite the loss of one booking. As an experienced traveler, I have never encountered such genuine warmth and assistance beyond the hotel front desk. Mr. Hamid also arranged an early check-in the next day and recommended the best scenic spots around the valley within our limited time, saving us much effort. His kindness challenged common stereotypes about Kashmir and its people often portrayed outside this beautiful region. This is a perfect example of combining smart luxury with Kashmiri hospitality. Many thanks to Mr. Hamid and the team. I will definitely choose this hotel for my future trips to Kashmir.

Our stay at this hotel was comfortable. We did not opt for breakfast, so I cannot speak about the food. Although the hotel is rated 4 stars, I feel it matches more closely to a well-kept 3-star hotel in terms of amenities. What really stood out was the outstanding hospitality. The staff were friendly, helpful, and prompt in addressing any needs. The service was consistently top-notch. The location is another big plus. For those visiting Srinagar and planning day trips to places like Gulmarg, Pahalgam, and Doodhpathri, this hotel is a very convenient base. Overall, it is a solid option for travelers seeking excellent service, a great location, and good value.

The food was exceptional, boasting excellent taste and quality. Each dish, especially the soup and fried rice, was very tasty, made with fresh ingredients and beautifully presented. The chefs truly excelled. It was a flawless dining experience from beginning to end!
