**1/5 — ONE OF THE WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCES OF MY ENTIRE TRAVELLING LIFE**I have travelled extensively, but **Hotel Town House, Prayagraj near the railway station, is easily one of the worst properties I have ever experienced.** I genuinely regret booking this hotel.The property shown on Agoda and the property I actually experienced felt like **two completely different things**. The booking appeared to offer a property with a value of more than 2,500, with a huge discount bringing the price below 1,000. I thought I had found a good deal. **Instead, I felt completely let down the moment I experienced the actual property.**### 🚨 ROOM CONDITION — ABSOLUTELY DISAPPOINTINGThe room condition was **extremely poor and far below what any traveller should reasonably expect**. Cleanliness, maintenance, ambience and overall standards were deeply disappointing.Whatever impression the online listing created, **the actual experience did not justify the price or the expectations created by the booking platform.**### 🚨 STAFF & CUSTOMER SUPPORT — TERRIBLEThe staff experience was equally disappointing. **Professionalism, helpfulness and customer support were nowhere near an acceptable standard.**When a guest has a problem, the hotel should make an effort to resolve it. Here, my experience was the complete opposite.### 🚨 NOT A FAMILY-FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENTBased on my personal experience and observations, **I would strongly advise families, parents travelling with children, and decent family travellers to think twice before booking this property.**The overall environment appeared to cater much more toward **couples seeking private short stays** than families looking for a clean, safe, peaceful and respectable place to stay.If you are travelling with your **family or children**, I would personally **avoid this property and choose another hotel**.### 🚨 AGODA — YOU SERIOUSLY NEED TO CHECK THIS PROPERTYWhat makes the experience even worse is that I booked through **Agoda**, trusting the property information, photographs and pricing displayed on the platform.After this experience, I have serious questions about **how such a property is being presented and promoted to customers on Agoda**.A massive discount means absolutely nothing if the actual property fails to deliver even the basic expectations of a hotel stay.### 💥 FINAL VERDICT**Hotel Town House, Prayagraj: NOT RECOMMENDED.**❌ Poor room experience❌ Poor maintenance❌ Extremely disappointing ambience❌ Unsatisfactory staff experience❌ Poor customer support❌ Not suitable, in my experience, for families❌ Completely failed to meet my expectations from the Agoda listing**I have travelled to many places and stayed in many hotels, but this is an experience I genuinely wish I could erase from my travel history.**I will **NEVER stay at this property again.**And after this experience, **I will be extremely cautious about trusting heavily discounted hotel listings on Agoda in the future.****My honest rating: 1/5 — and even that feels generous.****Fellow travellers: PLEASE READ RECENT REVIEWS CAREFULLY AND CHECK THE PROPERTY THOROUGHLY BEFORE BOOKING.
