I like this hotel very much....very scenic environment and rooms are quite specious....very good staff service specially Mangesh helped me a lot for my food service......i will definitely recommend this hotel to each and everyone.

This was the second time coming to Sunderban to stay - I came back because of the beautiful, peaceful vibe of the hotel and the grounds. Good coffee and good food on the site, an amazing old building well decorated with tasteful furniture - walking through the hotel feels like a step back in time. Staff is very good and polite and so is the staff that manages to keep up with the resorts everyday cleaning and maintenance do very good job ’’?? But having a relaxing cup of coffee on the balcony sitting on a comfortable old chair is my reason to stay here!The only fault I find is the one water bottle per guest per rule. One should not have to pay extra for a bottle of water for the night after a long day exploring Pune or charged for the water that is asked next day morning, please kindly provide two options after the complimentary water in the room is over 1) bottled water and 2) RO filter water. I’ll be back - but with some extra water bottles to make coffee in the morning!

I stayed here from Jan 22 to Jan 26 (Room 51). I handed in a pair of tailor-made silk-linen trousers and a merino wool sweater specifically for dry cleaning. Both items were returned completely destroyed ’ shrunk and matted. They are unwearable now. The damage is approx. 400 EUR (40,000 INR).What is truly shocking is the response from the management (Ms. Farzana Irani). Instead of apologizing or accepting my fair settlement offer (only ~25% of the value), she claimed via email that I had personally "confirmed" the damaging cleaning process with their contractor. This is an absolute lie. Why would any guest agree to have their bespoke suit ruined?They have refused any compensation and declared the issue "closed".Do not trust this hotel with your belongings. Zero accountability and dishonest management.

I recently stayed at Hotel Sunderban in Pune for three weeks.While the location is very convenient, especially being right next to the Osho International Meditation Resort, the overall experience left much to be desired.The rooms are large and spacious, which is definitely a positive. However, they feel quite old and in need of serious updating. Basic standards are lacking ’ for example, there was no hot water in the bathroom sink, and the shower temperature fluctuated constantly, making it difficult to get a comfortable wash. The bathroom fixtures are outdated, dirty, and several were not working properly, which was disappointing for the price point.There were a few occasional power outages during my stay, and the Wi-Fi went down a couple of times, which made it hard to stay connected reliably.Overall, this property has great potential due to its location and room size, but an urgent renovation and improvement of basic facilities is needed to bring it up to a reasonable standard.

Staying at Sunderban again gave me an even stronger and more positive impression of the hotel’s housekeeping service than before.The Supervisor Mareena comes across as calm, reliable, and genuinely professional. She consistently treats guests with courtesy and patience, creating a natural sense of ease and respect. More importantly, it is clear that she truly cares about her work and takes pride in what she does.Under her leadership, the housekeeping team,Priti’Meera and ashok, works with excellent coordination and efficiency. They are quick without ever feeling rushed, and thorough without being careless. After each use, the room is restored in a short time to a state of cleanliness, order, and comfort’so much so that returning to the room brings an immediate sense of calm.This feeling of comfort goes beyond simply having a clean room. It comes from attention to detail, from attitude, and from a team that genuinely understands how to care for guests.It is evident that such consistent quality is the result of strong and thoughtful leadership. This level of housekeeping service truly deserves recognition and appreciation.
