Before hand over roome key, room may be not check properly. No hot water properly, tea kettle electric not working properly. Just only location is prime.
INTERNAL SECURITY ISSUE- My husband and I stayed in Orbett Hotel, Apte road, Pune on 28th and 29th April 2026. We were assigned to room no. 302 where we stayed. After attending a local wedding function, we returned to the hotel around 10.30 pm to 11 pm. on 28th April. My husband had worn a Raymond Weil watch (mechanical) and kept it on the table in the room. Infact, on 28th April at around11.45 pm, he looked at the watch and mentioned that it was time to sleep an kept the watch on the main table in room no 302. In the morning, we ordered coffee by room service. Coffee was delivered and placed on the main table where the watch was kept and with in 5 mins, we realized our Raymond weil watch vanished from the table. And none other had entered or left the room. We took up the matter to the front desk but no action was taken. After persistent enquiry in the front desk, they directed us to Mr Raj Mandal who made himself available after 2 hours. But despite Mr Mandal being in the campus, the staff was preventing us from meeting him. The staff said that Mr Mandal was at the breakfast counter but when we checked, he was not there. He was avoiding meeting us. After couple of hours, Mr Mandal appeared when we edcalated the matter. We insisted on seeing the video footages for which he said it will take a long time and asked us for a couple of days. After persistently asking him for the footage and wasting our time in Pune, he showed us a small clipping where the quality of the picture was smudgy. When we asked for more footage, Mr Mandal requested a day to analyse and get back to us.How ever, no effort has been taken by him nor the ORBETT HOTEL MANAGEMENT till date despite so many phone calls. The only response we get is that "pls dont report this in the review ".Clearly, it is a security issue.

Couple • May 2026My experience with this hotel was really good. They do regular cleaning. Added complimentary breakfast. Room was asthetic and giving positive vibe. Overall satisfactory experience.
