The Ambassador Hotel Pune

I would like to share my feedback regarding the room service experience during my recent stay, which was unfortunately disappointing and fell short of the standards expected from a hotel in the hospitality industry.The primary concern was the lack of professionalism and courtesy displayed by the room service staff. Basic manners and respectful communication are essential when interacting with guests, yet the staff members I spoke with appeared uninterested and spoke in an abrupt and dismissive manner. This made even simple interactions uncomfortable and gave the impression that guest requests were an inconvenience rather than a priority.Additionally, the efficiency of the room service was extremely poor. On one occasion, I requested a single bottle of water’an item that should be readily available and delivered promptly. Despite the simplicity of this request, it took approximately 30 minutes for the bottle to arrive. There was no proactive communication to explain the delay, nor was any apology offered upon delivery. Such delays, especially for basic necessities, indicate a lack of coordination and service accountability.What was particularly frustrating was that the hotel did not appear to be operating under heavy occupancy or unusual circumstances at the time. This raises concerns about staff training, internal processes, and overall service management. Even when delays occur, courteous communication and transparency can significantly improve the guest experience, both of which were absent in this case.Room service plays an important role in guest comfort and convenience, and when it is poorly managed, it negatively impacts the overall stay. Hospitality is not just about facilities and infrastructure but about how guests are treated. Unfortunately, this experience reflected a clear gap in service standards.I hope the management takes this feedback constructively and invests in better staff training, clearer service protocols, and improved supervision to ensure a more professional and efficient experience for future guests.

Presently I am staying tonight here, may be can’t change the hotel as I have busy schedule for corporate work. I feel I am stucked here.. No WiFi’ for work’ They’re not even don’t want to be polite.. Restaurant people talking as we are begging..My corporate jobs compel me to travelling’ I have never seen this type of behaviour. Sorry for owner he may not be knowing. Shame..

Booked the Suite room here due to unavailability of other options. It's a spacious room no doubt but if you're looking for modern amenities and furnishings, please note that this is a fairly old property and likely haven't got an upgrade in a long long time. Room access is via cylindrical locks with keys and interiors are very 80s. Bathroom fixtures are old and leaky with salt stains over glass and faucets.Breakfast buffet is very functional and basic. If you're staying more than two nights, it will get monotonous. An unusual smell hangs over the dining area which was quite bothersome.A value stay nevertheless and can be considered only if other options aren't available within budget. A solid modernization and upgrade to the entire hotel interiors will surely add charm to this brilliantly located place. The opportunity is currently squandered.

I really enjoy the Ambassador Hotel, especially its excellent facilities. The swimming pool, walking track, and gym are all very well maintained. The staff at the swimming pool are particularly impressive ’ they are friendly, respectful, and interact with club members in a very professional and gentlemanly manner.’ Vilash Aglawe
