Treebo Premium Travancore Palace Cherthala

The room was absolutely neat and beautiful. I had vegetarian food only and it was delicious. It indeed felt like staying in a palace. Go for it!

I had a great experience with Travancore palace hotels recently, its a fine dine spot and food was also awesome,,service is also good,,saw some good faces there, the way one lady took our order and serve us was good,,, found a lot of confidence in their faces,,, end of the day i am happy with food and service,,, will surely visit soon,,, all the best for the team and the management,,,And i have seen an issue occured of delay to get food by other family who were sit beside me,,, i humbly request all the customers visiting there to understand the situation and imagine if anyone we knows are in the place of them will we talk like that?? hope lack of employees i had found there but within limited strength they are doing better ’’’’Have another humble request,, please don't blame any of the employees there infront of us,,, ’’’’

We went there for a vegetarian thaali. Not upto our expectations. And not bad. Thaali was not hot. No curd.May be we should try Non vegetarian. Heard they serve good NV food.Nice ambience.

This was a very disappointing stay. Although the property looks good in photos, the management, maintenance, cleanliness, and professionalism are extremely poor.The tap water had a strong smell and looked like rusty / ore-mixed water, making it unpleasant and unhygienic to use. The rooms and common areas were not properly cleaned.The restaurant / dining area had too many flies, making it unhygienic and uncomfortable to eat there. There was no proper Wi-Fi service, and even basic amenities like a dental kit were not provided until we specifically asked for them. The toilet paper provided was half-used, which is unacceptable and unhygienic.In one of the rooms, coffee was accidentally spilled by us on the bedsheet and we immediately informed the staff. Instead of handling it professionally, they said there were no spare bedsheets available. Later they insisted we pay to buy a new bedsheet, claiming it could not be washed or dry cleaned, which felt unreasonable and exploitative.We had planned a small New Year moment for our kids using simple sparklers, but this was refused by the management citing safety concerns, which we respected. However, the property later conducted its own fireworks without following basic safety standards, even though guests’ cars were parked very close to the fireworks area. This contradiction showed a complete lack of safety responsibility.Overall, the place suffers from poor hygiene, lack of basic supplies, unprofessional staff behaviour, inconsistent rules, and unsafe practices. The experience was frustrating and not worth the money. I strongly do not recommend this property unless there are major improvements in management, cleanliness, and safety.

It's a resort like hotel, building are Kerala style architecture. The restaurant is a typical nalukettu and Kerala artforms are displayed in the wall.Stayed one night in between the travel. Staying full day is worth for the amount. Morning breakfast was very nice and tasty.Long way to walk to reach the rooms and no lift available.
