Wetzlar Resort

Ambience was excellent’definitely a 5-star experience during the inauguration phase when significant investment was evident. Unfortunately, things have gone downhill since then.The property is now poorly maintained’more like a 2-star experience. There was only one staff member handling everything: reception, registration, carrying luggage to the room, and even arranging extra beds. Clearly understaffed, and the staff member was also quite rude.Maintenance is a major concern. The pool was in a pathetic condition and not cleaned properly. Even the water quality seemed bad, raising hygiene concerns (please be cautious about issues like amoebic meningitis).Overall, a very disappointing stay. I would not recommend this resort.

**Very Disappointing Experience at Wetzlar Resort**Our experience at Wetzlar Resort was extremely unpleasant and poorly managed. We booked a **day package** with a *maximum of 40 people*, and were clearly told the **exact count would be confirmed on the day**.The package was supposed to **start at 10:00 AM**, but there was **no welcome, no staff response, and not even a welcome drink** at that time. We were left waiting until **11:00 AM** just to get a drink, which is unacceptable.Despite arriving on time, **no rooms were ready at 10:00 AM**. To make matters worse, the **lift was not working**. We had booked **two rooms**’one on the ground floor and one on the first floor’yet guests were forced to use the stairs due to the broken lift. On top of that, the **bathroom pipe in the first-floor room was not working**, showing a complete lack of basic maintenance.The **ground floor had no air conditioning**, making it very uncomfortable, especially during the day.The most frustrating part was at the end of the day: **we were charged for 40 people**, even though we **clearly confirmed only 29 people in the morning**. This is highly unprofessional and feels like deliberate overcharging.Overall, this resort shows **poor service, bad management, lack of maintenance, and unfair billing practices**. Definitely **not worth the money** and **not recommended** to anyone expecting a smooth or professional experience.

Road wide enough for one car. Lift was not working, was understaffed. Ambiance is good, lot of spots for photoshoot. Food was better than average but not top notch. Service was good and compensated part of the staff shortage. Nice polite staff.

The moment one enters the resort he/she would feel an entirely different world inside. The resort, unlike others, is so cool naturally. The food, service & the environment are unique/superb. I wholeheartedly recommend it to all as the best in Moovattupuzha city.
