I recently stayed at Hotel AK Continental during a trip to McLeod Ganj, and honestly, it was a great choice for the price. The location on Bhagsunag Road is perfect’it’s just a short walk to both the Bhagsunag Temple and the main square, so you're close to the action but away from the crazy traffic. A massive bonus for us was that they actually have on-site parking, which is incredibly rare in this town!We booked a Super Deluxe room on a higher floor, and my biggest piece of advice is to make sure you do the same. Waking up and having morning chai on the balcony with a clear, unobstructed view of the Dhauladhar mountains was the absolute highlight of the trip. The room itself was spacious, clean, and the hot water actually worked.The staff were genuinely warm and always ready to help. We ate at their restaurant a couple of times, and the North Indian food was fresh and delicious. The Wi-Fi was a bit patchy sometimes, but that's just mountain life. Overall, a fantastic, budget-friendly spot I’d definitely return to.
