Aristocrat Hotel

Very disappointing experience. I stayed at the hotel for two nights (9th & 10th June) during a family wedding, and the entire property was booked by our relatives. Unfortunately, the room service was pathetic. There were hardly any service staff available, basic things like towels were not provided on time, and overall hospitality was extremely poor. For such a large group booking and wedding occasion, we expected much better management and service standards. Definitely not a pleasant stay.

This is going to be a long review especially for families who are planning this as a wedding venue or would like to know the kind of management and people you are giving your money.We booked this venue for this year February and had finalised it on Jan '2025. This wasn't the dream destination but there were many factors that had to be taken into consideration - accomodation for 100+ people, a fairly big lawn and a proper path for the baraat procession were some of the focus points for us.Here are the list of things that went wrong:- We had a lady POC for months who had good hospitality and assured us that we will have our requirements fulfilled - if not there was always a workaround. But before 4 months of the date, she was nowhere to be found - seems like the entire managementt changed.- With the new management, there were multiple POCs and the main guy is the worst person to be in this business. He has no sense of hospitality. He kept giving us anxiety saying there is no such booking made, the lady has vanished after taking money from multiple parties!!- Just imagine, how would you feel when you have paid lakhs and in no time you are going to get married with everything uncertain.- Then in sometime he comes back saying he got the booking but not all the transactions. Again in sometime he confirms the booking. It is hard to explain what anxiety we went through. It almost felt like that they were having fun torturing us.- That guy A.Adhikary is the most unprofessional person I have come across till date. No manners, no empathy, no humility - absolute bullshit.- The room allocated for bride had no to dim lights. Just imagine!- The washroom were always so wet that you would have to skip going for hours with heavy clothes or for elderly and kids.- The first time we went to meet these guys, we were meeting vendors till 4/5pm in thte evening and we were no even offered tea/snacks, forget lunch! This is how they behave with a client who is giving you business in lakhs.- The hotel is so shabby, you would wonder that how are they charging so much. Oh! we were promised renovation too which naver happened.- Just know that these are the people who will take advantage of your helplessness and give you mental stress.I am writting this after 1 and a half months of the date as there has been so much trauma, bad memories involved. Just imagine the couple would never want to visit their wedding venue ever in life!!I couldn't post this without adding any stars, hence a 1. Otherwise it deserves none.

Extremely Disappointing Experience ’ Never Stay HereNever come to this hotel. Even by mistake do not book a room here.If you do, you will feel like you have made one of the biggest mistakes of your life.I had booked a twin bed room 15 days in advance and even paid extra money specifically for that room type. However, when I arrived at the hotel, they gave me a very small room with only one bed, which was completely different from what I had booked and paid for.When I questioned the manager about this, his response was simply: ’Sorry sir, we have overbooking. I cannot do anything.’ This is completely unacceptable.If a hotel cannot manage its bookings properly, why take reservations and extra money from customers?After arguing for some time, they offered me another small room without AC and arranged only a fan as a solution.Imagine paying for a proper room and ending up in a room where you have to survive with fan ki hawa.This kind of unprofessional management, poor planning, and lack of customer care is shocking. There was no proper support, no accountability, and no real solution provided.In the end, I had to suffer because of their mistake.For proof, I am sharing the photographs of the so-called ’twin bed room’ they offered.Strongly not recommended. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

Absolutely the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The staff made fake commitments about breakfast during booking, but in reality nothing was provided as promised. The behaviour at reception was extremely rude and unprofessional ’ zero respect for guests. There was no proper room service, calls were ignored, and basic hospitality standards were completely missing. I would strongly advise others to think twice before booking here. Very disappointing stay and definitely not worth the money.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 days when came to Kolkata for Pedicon.Overall an average stay.We had booked our stay (deluxe queen) through MMT well in advance. However staff wasn't aware. So we were then given a suite room. Though we got a larger room, we were disappointed with the condition of the room. The floor was damp, and covered with dust ( appeared as if wasn't cleaned for somedays). After walking for sometime barefeet in the room our sole would turn black with dirt.The walls need renovation. Breakfast options were limited and taste was average. Needs improvement.However, overall other room facilities were good, staff was polite and ready to help. Security person at the entrance was also prompt at his work.It's a well built hotel, offering most amenities. Only requires renovation of rooms, and needs to sort the problem of dampness, and staff needs training to manage the bookings.
