Clean property. Housekeeping staff is super nice and available most of the day which was convenient for us. Stay was good. Location is premium. Many restaurants, bars and shops close by within walking distance.When we first arrived, we were given the room and it looked nothing like the pictures, it was a completely different room. Way smaller and didn’t have the same layout at all. We complained. Staff tried to say it’s the angle of the pictures and it just looks different in photos. They were trying to argue but we didn’t give in because on this platform you cannot post pictures of rooms and not give that same room. We weren’t buying it so eventually a hotel manager had to sort it out and he ended up giving us a room that was up to par to what we originally booked. Be careful of this when you checkin. I urge you to make sure you get the room you booked or something up to par with what you booked.

The only thing I liked about the hotel was the well-mannered older man at the reception and the rude doorman who seemed to do his job conscientiously. I probably won't go into detail about the negative aspects of the hotel; the positives aren't worth mentioning. A stay at this hotel is absolutely not worth $50 a night.

Bharati ji’s warmth and attention make the experience feel personal and comforting every single time.From breakfast to any item on the menu, everything is consistently amazing. The food is light, not too oily, and extremely easy on the stomach’perfect for anyone who prefers clean, well-balanced meals. You can actually taste the care taken in choosing the right ingredients, which makes it ideal for health-conscious people.The taste is absolutely worth the value, and nothing feels heavy or overdone. Special mention to the breakfast at Pepperchino’it genuinely makes your day happier and sets the right tone for the morning.If you care about healthy, tasty, and thoughtfully prepared food, Pepperchino is truly a must-visit. Highly recommended!

Really bad experience very rude behaviour of receptionist, no body should ever go that hotel

This was my second stay at The Samilton Hotel, Kolkata ,and it was just as impressive as the first’if not better! The service is consistently outstanding, with staff who are warm, helpful, and truly attentive to every need.The rooms are clean, neat, and very well maintained,offering a comfortable and relaxing environment. The hotel’s amenities are excellent ,making the overall experience smooth and enjoyable.I also loved the dining options within the property. The food is delicious, fresh, and offers great variety, making every meal something to look forward to.Overall, The Samilton Hotel continues to deliver exceptional hospitality. I highly recommend it and look forward to staying here again!
