Charan Plaza

I had a disappointing experience at Charan Plaza, Lucknow. For a hotel that claims to be a 3-star property, the service and professionalism were far below expectations.One of the staff members who attended to our request for an extra bed was chewing tobacco (tambacoo) while interacting with guests, which felt highly unprofessional and unhygienic. Such behavior should not be acceptable in the hospitality industry.The receptionist’s attitude was also disappointing. Instead of being welcoming and helpful, the behavior came across as rude and unfriendly. Basic guest requests were handled with little courtesy, making us feel unwelcome throughout our stay.A hotel’s reputation depends not only on its rooms but also on the quality of its staff and customer service. Unfortunately, this property fell short in both areas. I hope the management takes guest feedback seriously and improves staff training and professionalism.Would not recommend based on my experience.

I have stayed here many times before, never had any complaints before but this time may2026. This place requires serious maintainance update, not very clean, broken taps, ac started after many requests, phone not working. Staff acting rude and not responding to basic requests, water leaking from outside of window banging it like drums all night, spider in bathroom, empty bottle of body wash, dirty linens and towels. Horrific experience.This place has lost its charm. Stay was not pleaseant at all. This was my favourate place whenever I visited lucknow and always recommended others too. But not now, never. Big no.

I honestly can’t recommend Hotel Charans Plaza to anyone. Our experience was truly awful’from the catering to the service, everything was a complete disaster. The staff was zero help during check-in and check-out, and they were incredibly rude to our guests throughout the stay. On top of the chaotic parking situation, they offered no support when some of our belongings went missing. Please, save yourself the stress and avoid this place for any important event. It just isn't worth it.

There is something called Breakfast by charan plaza. I ordered bread pakora and the hotel has sent me uncooked itemsThis is ridiculous. There is no help on he phone number given. Also when connected the agent kept me on hold and disconnected. I cant imagine how the people are getting food there. When this is the service we have given by breakfast by charan Plaza. What would have happened when we stay. They dont even have kept the pakoras in box.

I have visited roof top buffet. Food Service is good ...But toilet hygiene and maintenance is pathetic just like a train toilet....Very bad experience from such a premium restaurant....
