Nice hotel for business travelers, with courteous staff.

’We organized a buffet party at Hotel Sandstone Inn last night. Overall, the experience had both positives and areas that need improvement.’On the positive side, the food tasted good, and the seating arrangements were comfortable and well-managed.’However, there was a significant issue with how the buffet setup was handled. Since our billing was based on a per-plate count, the staff seemed more focused on inflating the total plate count rather than guest convenience. For instance, there were no side or quarter plates available near the bread counter for rotis; they were only provided if specifically requested. Because of this, guests naturally picked up extra full-sized dinner plates just to carry rotis, which directly pushed up our final plate tally.’This created an unnecessary hassle and felt unprofessional. The management really needs to address this practice and ensure proper side plates are kept accessible in future events.

For example, there were no side or smaller plates near the bread counter for rotis; these were only given if asked for. As a result, guests took extra full-sized dinner plates just to carry rotis, which raised our final plate count. This caused unnecessary trouble and felt unprofessional. The management should fix this and make sure side plates are readily available at future events.

The top hotel in Aliganj with excellent hospitality. The complimentary breakfast is wonderful as well. Whenever I have the opportunity to visit, I will choose to stay here exclusively. Thanks to the Hotel Sandstone Team for their warm hospitality.

The worst hotels in which I have ever stayed. No water in toilets for hours. The ceiling fan is so low that I cut my finger hitting the running fan while changing clothes. Pathetic services.
