Everything is excellent, the service is outstanding, the food is fantastic, and both the guests and staff are very friendly.

Staying at Dera Jaipur was an exceptional experience. This charming heritage home is carefully preserved, blending its historic appeal with modern conveniences seamlessly. The property is impressively clean and well-maintained. The rooms and bathrooms have been updated thoughtfully to include modern amenities while retaining the heritage home's unique character and style. Spacious and tidy rooms, elegant upholstery and linens, brass lamps, fresco paintings, artifacts, and a curated selection of books and objects all reflect the host’s rich and intriguing life story. The fresco artwork in the sitting areas is especially delightful, contributing to the warm and historic atmosphere throughout the house. Every element feels intentionally arranged rather than randomly placed. The host is kind, gentle, and makes a sincere effort to be personally attentive to guests' needs. The staff are also polite, friendly, and accommodating. Special thanks to Bai Jee for her delicious homemade meals, which require advance notice but are definitely worth planning for. The terrace seating by the pool is another wonderful feature, ideal for a relaxed breakfast or dinner. Enjoying a meal there, surrounded by the house’s ambiance, enhances the experience. What truly sets Dera Jaipur apart is the sense that you’re not just staying in a heritage property but being welcomed into a beautiful home where history, art, hospitality, and modern comfort blend effortlessly. Everything is arranged to make guests feel at home while away. It was a genuinely memorable stay in Jaipur.

Chose this over a standard hotel for my business trip, and it turned out to be the better decision by far. This is a heritage home run by an old military family, and you can feel it the moment you walk in , every corner has a story, and the owners are happy to sit and share it.Checked in quite late at night, and they were still warm and accommodating about it. The staff is helpful, the manager is genuinely sweet and humble, and the little plunge pool was a lovely surprise. Breakfast was homemade and delicious. In a world of five-star and seven-star hotels that all start to feel the same, this place gives you something real , a chance to slow down, connect, and go back to the roots. Highly recommend for anyone who wants more than just a room to sleep in.
