Stayed at Ginger Agartala in April 2026. The rooms were comfortable and service was good. Breakfast could be improved, but overall it was a nice stay. Housekeeping staff Abhijit Dev did his job with great care, which made the stay even better. We rented a car for sightseeing ’ Tripureshwari Temple, Neermahal, Kasbeshwari Temple, and Unakoti ’ all worth visiting. Ginger Agartala made a convenient base for exploring Tripura.

Had a wonderful stay at Ginger Agartala. The hospitality and behaviour of the staff truly made the experience memorable. A special thanks to Housekeeping Manager Kasim for maintaining everything so professionally and ensuring a comfortable stay. Reception staff Biplob was extremely helpful and courteous throughout. And Gracy at the reception deserves a special mention too ’ very sweet, cute, welcoming, and always carrying a warm smile that brightens the atmosphere.The only downside was that the rooms felt a bit too crammed and compact. Apart from that, the service, cleanliness, and staff behaviour were excellent. Would definitely recommend the hotel for its amazing hospitality.

We were happy that we got a better and bigger room. Reception is under stress because of the heavy load....the hotel has 100% occupancy. The restaurant service was excellent, even though the menu is limited. Chef Subir Ghosh, Supervisor Akash Mondal and server Sukanto Saha went beyond expectations to make us happy. Would love to be here again!

Comfortable Stay Despite Issues

I had a comfortable stay at??Ginger Hotel Agartala. The location of the hotel is quite convenient and makes commuting easy.The food quality was genuinely good’tasty and well-prepared’although it felt slightly overpriced. That said, the service more than compensated for it. The dining experience, including the buffet breakfast, was excellent. Special thanks to Mr. Joydeb and Mr. Nikhil for their attentive service and hospitality.However, there were a few issues during the stay. The TV control in the room was very poor’it kept switching on and off throughout the night, which was quite inconvenient. Additionally, for a business hotel, the absence of a basic facility like a shoe-shining service was surprising.Another important concern is the pricing. Typically, Ginger hotels are priced around ’3000 per night, but this property in Agartala was charging around ’4500 per night. For a relatively small town, this pricing felt unjustified and not commensurate with the facilities and room standards provided.Overall, while the service, food, and location are strong positives, the room maintenance issues and unjustified pricing need serious attention.
