Grand Continent Morjim

⭐⭐ Disappointing stay – needs significant improvement Unfortunately, my experience at Grand Continent Morjim was quite disappointing. The bedsheets were not clean and did not feel fresh, which is unacceptable for a hotel stay. The bathroom lock was not working properly, which was also a serious inconvenience and privacy concern. The approach road to the hotel was in very poor condition, making it difficult to reach the property, especially during the rains. The breakfast service was also very late, which was inconvenient, particularly when travelling with family and having plans for the day. Overall, I expected much better standards from the property. The hotel has potential, but cleanliness, maintenance, accessibility and service need considerable improvement.

We stayed for 2 days and thought of working from Goa. But bingo hotels have zero value for that. Wifi didn't work, TV didn't work, Zero Jio network.And no accountability for anything. If you are planning of working from here. Avoid and better stay to a hotel where atleast bear minimum internet is working.

Great experience

We had a wonderful stay. The rooms were large and tidy. The view of the sea was stunning. Breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious choices. Enjoyed a lot of fun time in the pool as well. An excellent budget-friendly choice. Grateful for the excellent service.

If you want a resort that can transform a peaceful vacation into a series of unexpected events, Grand Morjim is the spot. We paid extra for a sea-view room but were asked on arrival day to move temporarily because another guest wanted the sea view we had already paid for. It seems confirmed bookings here are just suggestions. Our room had a broken chair, which we reported right away, but it was never replaced during our stay, as if approval was needed from many authorities. The worst part was a staff member secretly recording a video of my wife without her consent, which is a serious breach of privacy and unacceptable. Additionally, another guest damaged my car in the hotel parking lot, and instead of contacting me to move it, they just hit it, reflecting the lack of care and responsibility we experienced. The restaurant was also inconsistent; we were invited for dinner and discussed a starter on the phone, but when we ordered it at the restaurant, we were told they don’t serve starters. The only positive was Mr. Deep and his team, who were polite, professional, and served genuinely good food, showing true hospitality. Overall, Grand Continent Morjim showed that paying high prices doesn’t ensure good service, only high frustration. Between ignored bookings, maintenance issues, privacy violations, poor restaurant communication, and neglect of guest property, this was one of my most disappointing hotel stays. I can’t recommend this place unless it seriously upgrades its professionalism, staff training, privacy policies, and customer service.
