The location is great for exploring all attractions and walking around .Staff was very helpful throughout the stay . Hot water and Housekeeping were reliable . However , the room size felt cramped and facilities were average which impacts overall value for money
Likely the worst experience – the location is inconvenient, the inclusive breakfast offers just two options that never change, and to make matters worse, there is no inverter backup during power outages, leaving guests in the dark. Charging over 4k plus taxes for this, it's better to choose a cheaper place in the old city than stay stuck in this disappointing hotel.

Solo Traveller • Sep 2026We spent two nights at the Grandrosse Hotel in Udaipur and had a fantastic time. The location is very convenient, with the City Palace, Gangaur Ghat, and many restaurants and cafés all within walking distance. The hotel is on a slope, so parking is a bit tricky due to limited spaces, but the outstanding staff more than compensated for this. They were extremely helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. Our Premium Room with a lake view matched the photos perfectly—spotlessly clean, comfortable, and offering a breathtaking lake view. A big thanks to the amazing team for making our stay unforgettable. Even though the hotel was short-staffed during our visit, Faizan provided warm hospitality and attentive service, and Mr. Bhairav was a great help with our luggage and parking, which we really appreciated. We highly recommend Grandrosse to anyone visiting Udaipur. It's a charming hotel with a great location, beautiful views, and most importantly, a truly wonderful team!
