Hotel D Courtyard

Extremely disappointing stay. If you’re travelling with family and expect basic hygiene like a clean bed, bathroom, and shower, this is not the place. We had to check out within an hour due to a strong cigarette smell, stained beds, and visible mould in the bathrooms across all four rooms. An offered suite upgrade was even worse, likely due to lack of use and poor upkeep. After a long drive from Kaziranga to Guwahati, all we wanted was a clean, comfortable night’s rest. The only positive was the buffet dinner.

I stayed at this hotel for a night with my family. The rooms were bad. The AC was broken.The worst part is the food. Our dinner was complimentary as a part of our tour package. There were very few items all of which tasted bad. They made us wait for 1 hour after knowing that our dinner was complimentary. All the staffs left to their place after keeping very little food for us. Even if we wanted more, we had tonwait and walk to them every time to ask for more food which they served with hesitation. They even switched off the AC in the restaurant while we had dinner. When we were done and were leaving, another family entered and then all of a sudden they switched on the AC (I guess their dinner wasn't complimentary). Overall worst experience.

Location is good .. But the shortcut to the hotel was risky at night. Nice ambience. The staff was very friendly. The food was top notch. I spent One night there. Felt great.

The only good thing about this hotel is the staff. The property is in need of maintenance. It's located in a crowded area & the road outside is dirty & congested. Food was mediocre with not many options. Windows & curtains need to be kept closed as the adjacent buildings are very close. Linens are also not very clean.
