Poor cleaning, stinky smell, curtains were not washed, beds were not in good condition, and even the pillows and bedsheets smelled badly. We also found cockroaches, and basic amenities like water bottles were not provided.

Ilapuram is one of the oldest hotel in Vijayawada city. Rooms were good. Toilet was not cleaned properly. Average breakfast. Average stay. Hygienic factor missing.

I have stayed for a day recently. The proprty is old and some renovation had been done.Rooms: Very spacious and clean.wash room is also clean. More investment in upholstery, furniture, fans etc will greatly improve. I found fan giving creaking soundRestaurant: The staff are courteous. I had compementary as well as paid snacks. Their snacks are OK.Porcelain items are to be replaced( cups and saucers).Location: Great location. Close to Railway station and markets.Check out: 24 hours for direct booking. Definite advantage.Room rent: OK, with complementary breakfast.Lastly, safe for family Travellers, as this hotel is very old.Bar: I did not avail this.Conclusion: OK for budget travellers.
