Wonderful

My group recently stayed at Hotel Mount View and had a generally positive experience. The rooms were large and provided a beautiful view. The housekeeping team was very friendly and professional. However, I encountered some problems with the restaurant service. The service was quite poor; we waited nearly an hour for our lunch. The waiter appeared unprofessional and seemed unfamiliar with proper service. The food was acceptable but overly oily. I want to especially thank the female receptionist who was very humble and helpful. She provided us with all the information we needed about Udaipur attractions, arranged an auto for us, and even assisted with our luggage, which was beyond her responsibilities. Please work on improving your restaurant service.

Enjoyed a very nice stay at Hotel Mount View Inn. The rooms were tidy, cozy, and properly cared for. The staff remained courteous and supportive during our visit. The environment was calm, and the hospitality was top-notch. The hotel's view was stunning as well. I would certainly suggest this hotel for a pleasant and restful visit. My stay at Hotel Mount View Inn was very disappointing due to misleading information and poor management. The hotel advertised amenities that were not provided, and the staff seemed disorganized. On the first day, although welcome drinks were promised on Goibibo, none were given, and the staff appeared unaware of my booking details. Basic toiletries were missing initially and only arrived after I contacted reception. I also found small cockroaches in the room. On the second day, despite breakfast being included, the restaurant staff had no record of it and offered only limited options until I showed proof of my booking. Attempts to reach the manager during these issues were unsuccessful; he returned my call hours later offering high tea as compensation for the missing welcome drinks. The main pool was closed for cleaning and remained unavailable for several hours, wasting my afternoon, and the indoor pool shown online was completely off-limits. Requests for water bottles went unfulfilled, and checkout was chaotic with incorrect charges that required lengthy corrections. The only positive aspect was the rooftop restaurant, which served good food and seems to be the reason for the hotel's decent ratings. Overall, the management was terrible, and I would advise others to avoid this hotel. Additionally, booking through Goibibo was frustrating due to lack of real customer support, and I will not use their service again.
