Unfortunately, the experience was far below acceptable standards and did not justify the tariff charged.Major Issues Faced:’? Poor Accessibility & ParkingThe hotel is located deep inside the crowded market area.Reaching the property by car is extremely inconvenient, especially with family and luggage.There is no proper parking facility, and guests are left to figure things out on their own.’? No Lift FacilitySurprisingly, the hotel does not have a lift.Families with children, senior citizens, or guests carrying luggage have to climb multiple flights of stairs.’? Poorly Maintained RoomsThe room looked old, neglected, and in desperate need of renovation.Observed issues included:Broken and damaged bathtub.Dirty bathroom fittings.Poor maintenance around flooring and wall joints.Aging furniture and fixtures.Unhygienic corners and visible wear and tear throughout the room.The photographs attached speak for themselves.’’ No Telephone in RoomsThere is no room telephone to contact reception or room service.Guests have to physically go down or use personal phones for every request.’ Missing Basic Premium Room AmenitiesDespite booking a Premium Deluxe Room:No electric kettle.No tea/coffee making facility.Amenities expected even in budget hotels were missing.’’? Staff & Management AttitudeStaff seemed more focused on receiving tips than providing service.Basic hospitality training appears lacking.The owner/management came across as rude, hostile, and completely non-service-oriented.Guest concerns were not handled professionally.Final VerdictThis hotel may have been a good property years ago, but today it appears poorly maintained, poorly managed, and completely disconnected from modern hospitality standards.For families, senior citizens, and guests expecting even basic comfort, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere.Most disappointing is that this property continues to be promoted as a premium stay on booking platforms. Experiences like this can seriously damage the credibility and reputation of travel platforms such as MakeMyTrip, which guests trust for quality accommodation recommendations.Not worth the money paid. The room was old and poorly maintained, with a broken bathtub, dirty bathroom fixtures, worn flooring and walls, old furniture, and unhygienic spots throughout. There was no telephone in the room, so contacting reception or room service required going downstairs or using personal phones. Despite booking a Premium Deluxe Room, basic amenities like an electric kettle and tea/coffee making facilities were missing, which are usually found even in budget hotels. Room service was effectively unavailable after the kitchen closed at 10 PM, leaving guests without food options. Breakfast ended at 10 AM, and guests arriving late were reportedly reprimanded rather than helped, showing poor hospitality. The swimming pool was dirty and poorly maintained, with questionable water quality, and the kids' play area was neglected and unclean, making advertised family facilities unusable. Staff appeared more interested in tips than service, lacked basic hospitality training, and the management was rude and unprofessional in handling guest concerns. Overall, this hotel seems outdated, badly managed, and far from modern hospitality standards. Families, seniors, and anyone expecting basic comfort should consider other options. It is disappointing that this property is still promoted as premium on booking sites, which could harm the reputation of trusted platforms like MakeMyTrip. The stay was not worth the money, and I would not return or recommend it to others visiting Mahabaleshwar.

The food was excellent, reminiscent of homemade meals. The service was quick and polite. However, the location was not ideal.

Enjoyed a memorable visit, the food was excellent, the staff were courteous and supportive, overall a pleasant experience highly recommended.

The hotel imposed high additional fees for the children. The owner acted in a very rude and unprofessional manner. The rooms smelled very unpleasant. I stayed here once, but I will not return and would advise others against staying at this hotel.
