**Extremely Disappointing Experience — Avoid This Hotel**My recent stay at Sitara Grand Hotel was one of the most frustrating hotel experiences I have ever had. The entire experience felt focused on extracting money from guests rather than providing proper hospitality.We booked a specific room online, but the hotel allocated a different room according to their convenience. The check-in process was unnecessarily difficult, and basic flexibility expected from a hotel was completely missing.After check-in, staff repeatedly pushed us to have breakfast/food at their restaurant, initially making it appear complimentary. Once we started taking food, we were suddenly told that it was chargeable. This was extremely misleading and unprofessional.We were then repeatedly asked to change rooms. The rooms had a **strong, unpleasant smell**, and the towels and bedsheets did not appear hygienic or properly maintained.Another serious issue was the handling of our **Aadhaar/ID documents**. They retained our IDs and kept postponing their return even after we repeatedly requested them.The **Wi-Fi was also deliberately switched off/not working**, and despite repeatedly sending staff to our room, the passwords provided simply did not work.The worst part was the **billing experience at checkout**. The person at the counter was reluctant to provide a proper bill and talked about splitting bills to reduce tax. We were made to wait unnecessarily and ultimately left without receiving the proper bill for our payment.Overall, this hotel needs a serious improvement in **transparency, hygiene, customer service, room allocation, Wi-Fi, document handling, and billing practices**.I strongly recommend guests think twice before booking this property. My experience was extremely disappointing, and I would **not stay here again**.
